this is my "coming out " story

I was 23… I stressed and stressed and STRESSED over it for weeks and finally I decided I was gonna tell my parents. I mean I had come out to myself years before… so the big night arrives I'm all SET… I told my parents I had something to tell them so I wanted to meet them at their house  for dinner. OF COURSE my father ended up having to WORK late… so my mom came home and was all… well whats up… you can tell me and I'll tell your father when he gets home… I WAS SO MAD! LOL I had the whole thing worked out in my head… I told her it could wait 'til dad got home and she pushed and pushed and I was getting more and more upset until I finally started crying and just blurted it out (SO NOT that calm classy was I had it worked out in my head) I'M GAY… my mom looked at me (and I swear it lasted 10 year but it was really a split second) and NO JOKE… she started to laugh… Oh my f**king GOD I was soooo mad I jumped up and knocked over the chair and was FURIOUS and said what the HELL IS SO FUNNY… and she was laughing so hard her was crying and waving both hands in front of her face… I was so mad I making this LIFE SHATTERING revelation  and she stopped laughing a little and she looked at me... stood up GRABBED me and hugged me I was shaking I was so mad...She pulled back took my face in her hands and said (and I quote) "WELL DUH!" then started laughing again! I was dumb struck! I mean I thought this was a HUGE deal… we sat down and I was so upset she said HONEY please of course you are GAY… we have ALL just waited for you to figure it out! MY MOUTH HANGING OPEN… I said HOW did… what do... who is ALL? she said honey… Debbie was your "best friend" (see my "beard" pic in my stream) … no straight boy is NOT going to at least TRY to kiss her and you never did… then there is the crush you had on Randy (my best friend from H.S. who apparently EVERYONE knew I was MADLY in love with!)… I just sat there with my mouth open and THAT’S when my dad walks in… needless to say he takes one look at the two of us tears streaming down MY face her eyes all watering s and looks between us and sit down hard and says… who died? at that point my mom and I both start laughing so hard we can barely talk… and my mother slaps me on the thigh and croaks " tell him tell him tell him "  my dad was laughing now too… and I croaked out… I'm GAY and he said the same god damn thing " well DUH" and then we all just laughed! I know I'm pathetic… my parents totally accepting… the rest of the family kind of reacted the same way  APPARENTLY they all TALKED about it when I was not around… good grief!  

Last night while I was at the grocery store I ran in to an old friend (woman)who I had not seen in several years. Last time I saw her was at our high school reunion. I was wearing a size 36 back then… I could tell she was surprised at my belly but being classy and nice she didn't say anything  BUT... while were talking her 3 year old kept saying MOMMA momma MOMMA

Finally she said "What is is parker? " and he looked up at her and  me and said "Does he have a baby in his  belly like auntie Sarah?"

 His MOTHER was mortified,  but I got down on one knee and smiled at the boy and said "Do you know who Santa is?" and he nodded and I said "I have a bowl full of jelly in my belly like him" He busted into a HUGE grin and poked my belly. he laughed and said "Momma its hard like a basket ball " and his poor mother said that’s enough Parker… she said I'm really sorry  but I stood up and smiled rubbed my belly and said its ok… its not as big as all that but I'm sure it is to a little guy and she smiled :)
